Where your data goes, and what it's allowed to do.
Handing your drawings, your pricing, and your customer list to a piece of software is a reasonable thing to be careful about. Here's how we handle it — in plain terms, so you can hold us to it.
Your data stays yours
- We don't train anybody's model on your data. Not ours, not a vendor's.
- Where a system can't leave the building, we deploy inside it — on your hardware or your private cloud.
- You get the source, the prompts, and the configuration. If we part ways, the thing keeps working.
It only knows what you give it
- Answers come from your documents and your systems, with a link back to the source, so anyone can check the work.
- When it doesn't know, it says so. We'd rather it stopped than guessed at a part number.
- It sees what the person asking is already allowed to see. Existing permissions carry over — the assistant isn't a way around them.
A person stays in the loop
- Nothing writes to your ERP, sends to a customer, or spends money without somebody saying yes.
- Every action it takes is logged — what it did, what it read, and who approved it.
- You decide what it's allowed to touch. The default is read-only.
We test it before you trust it
- We check it against your real cases — including the awkward ones — and show you where it gets things wrong.
- You see the error rate before it goes live, not after.
- If it isn't good enough at the job, we say so rather than ship it.
It will get things wrong
Anything that reads a smudged fax will misread one eventually. The question isn't whether it errs, it's whether you find out. That's what the source links, the logs, and the approval step are for.
Some jobs aren't worth it
If the work is rare, or the cost of a mistake is high and it's hard to check, we'll tell you to leave it with the person doing it now.
Nobody gets replaced by surprise
We're not here to replace anybody. If a project would, that's your call to make openly — not something you discover after we've shipped it.
